A Winter Holiday in the French Alpes that doesn't break the bank
Having worked in the alps for many years, we have realised the financial implications of a week on the slopes. Hopefully we have found a way to help you have the same experience at a greatly reduced price.
The apartment (Aolettes) is situated in the French ski area of La Plagne, a resort consisting of 10 villages. It is situated in one of the highest of the altitude villages, Plagne Village (2050). Aolettes is a self catering apartment which sleeps 4 comfortably, and if great accessibility skiing is what you're looking for, then this place will not disappoint. |
A Place on the slopes
The apartment is on the top floor of a complex in Plagne Village, La Plagne, France. It consists of an upstairs and a downstairs. Backing on to a piste, you are able to ski out and in. For the more advanced skier or boarder among you it would be possible to oli straight up into the backdoor to your ski locker.
Plagne Village is linked to Plagne Centre by a gondola lift which runs until 1 am. The gondola is situated about 20m from our apartment block. Plagne Centre is where you will find most entertainment and Apres Ski. If you miss the last trip home, it is a short snowy trek up the piste back to the warmth of the apartment. Always fun. |

Within this site there is information on how to get to La Plagne. Hopefully we have made it as easy as possible for you to make your own way over to the slopes. Doing it this way allows you to choose the mode of transport which suits you best.
