A few pictures to give you an idea
Most of the time when you go on a skiing holiday you don't know what conditions are waiting for you at the other end. We have tried to provide you with as many photos as possible to let you know what to expect when you arrive.

View of Aolettes from the slopes
This picture was taken from the slopes leading down to the apartment. When the snow arrives, there is a piste which runs straight past the back door. You can put your skis on whilst sitting on the back step and ski away. If you are able to oli on your skis or board, you can pretty much ski to the ski locker.

The lounge Area
The lounge includes a double sofa and a double sofa bed which can be used as an extra bed if needs be. It is this room which leads through to the balcony, which has superb views of the valley. Entertainment provided in this room is a TV and video with a selection of movies to suit all tastes. There is also a sound system with a CD player. You'll need to bring your own tunes. |

The Kitchen
Walking straight into the kitchen from the public corridor, the kitchen has a double hob, fridge (with freezer compartment) and a small oven mounted on the wall. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all plates, cutlery and condiments supplied. |
The Bunk Room
The stairs lead straight into this room. This room officially sleeps 2, however under the double bed there is a spare single mattress which can be placed length ways against the wall. There are 2 large cupboards under the bunks and a hanging cupboard to store clothes. |

The Double Room
The double room has a sloping roof, therefore it does have limited headroom. It has ample cupboard space for clothes, and footwear. The walk through from the bunk room is divided by a curtain so it is not completely private. It is also part of a mezzanine, you can look down the stairs from this room. |
The Bathroom
Unfortunately we do not have a picture of the bathroom to show you. This however, consists of a shower, toilet and sink. Regrettably there is no bath as there is limited space in this room. It is situated opposite the kitchen when you walk in from the corridor. |

Front of Aolettes
If you arrive into the resort by car and are concerned about parking, don't be. There is sufficient free parking outside our block, more than enough for everyone. There is a local Spar shop situated about 20 metres from the apartment complex door. All your provisions can be bought from here. |
The Grande Rochette
The Grande Rochette is the main mountain which is accessed from Plagne Centre. The Funiplagne cable car (pictured) is the fastest lift in the world taking more people up to a sumit than any other lift in the world. From the apartment no walking is needed, ski to it from the back door. |

Fun for all the family
Directly outside the apartment block is a snow creche, ski school meeting point and also a learner tow. A restaurant 50 meters away with enough space to allow kids to play in the snow can give you time to relax and enjoy a glass of vin chaude or two. |
Other activities available
As well as skiing La Plagne offers an assortment of alternative activities and apres ski. Jump off the Grande Rochette connected to a parachute (& pilot) or race down the only bob-sleigh run in France reaching speeds of 120km. Skidooing, night skiing (in the Jean Luc Cretier stadium) and numerous bars and traditional restaurants will keep you more than occupied when the slopes close for the night. |
